Mrs. Chris Voss passed away at her late home in Walnut, Tuesday, May 22, 1923 aged 75 years, 2 months and 12 days.
She was born in Holstein, Germany on March 10, 1948. Came to America in the year 1869. She was united in marriage to Chris Voss in 1870. To this union twelve children were born, six of whom with the aged husband, survive her. The children are: Mrs. Lena Rethwich, Mrs. Randolph Sievers, Emil, Charles and Ben Voss of Walnut; and John Voss of Rushville, Nebr.
About twelve years ago they left the farm and moved to Walnut, which has been her home since.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Hansen of Shelby, were held at the home Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in the Walnut Cemetery.
