Mrs. Ethelyn Jones, wife of George Jones, of Windfall died at her home Saturday evening. Her death had been expected after a lingering condition. The funeral will take place Tuesday at the Baptist Church at 2 o'clock. Interment will be at Brookside in Windfall. Mrs. Jones was a native of Kentucky, having been born at Cynthiana, Dec. 7, 1859. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Fields were her parents and they both died in Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. Jones were married January 8, 1879, at the home of the bride's parents in Kentucky. They came to Wildcat township in 1882, locating on a farm south of Windfall, and they resided there for thirty years, moving later to Windfall. Seven children were born to them, they being Leo Jones, of Windfall; Mrs. Charles Adams, of Cynthiana, Ky.; Ancil Jones, Portland, Oregon; romeo Jones, at home; Elwood Jones, Kansas City; two twin daughters, Mrs. Henry F. Landseadel and Mrs. Chester Strader, of Elwood.
