Mrs. Hans Hagen, 73, Waupaca, died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday at Riverside Community Memorial Hospital, Waupaca. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, Rosholt. The Rev. A.S. Petersen of Waupaca will officiate. Burial will be in the Alban Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Voie Funeral Home, lola. The former Julia Lee was born July 16,1901, in the Town of Alban, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lee. She married Hans Hagen on Oct. 27, 1918, in Alban.
The couple farmed in Mount Horeb for five years and the Town of Scandinavia, Waupaca County, for 14 years, before retiring to lola.
Mr. Hagen died on Aug. 2, 1971, and Mrs. Hagen then moved to Waupaca.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur and Glen, both of Waupaca, and Robert, Mount Horeb; seven daughters, Mrs. L.D. (Hatie) Haroldson, Skokie, 111., Mrs. Patricia (Vivian) Christiansen, Geneva, 111., Mrs. Earl (Irene) Dobbe and Mrs. Howard (Delores) Wilson, both of Waupaca, Mrs. June Cummings, Northbrook, 111., and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Pierce and Mrs. Eugene (Burnell) Opsal, both of Wheeling, 111., 38 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John, Nelsonville, and Willie, Campbellsport, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Emma) Hansen and Mrs. John (Agnes) Pearson, both of Waupaca.
Mrs. Hagen was preceded in death by one sister, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
