MRS. REX MASTERS
Funeral services for Mrs. Rex (Sue) Masters, were conducted Monday at the LDS Church in Manila. Bishop Albert Neff officiated. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.
Mrs. Master, 49, died Wednesday morning following major surgery in Salt Lake City. She had been in ill health for several years.
She was born Dec. 19, 1914, in Linwood, Utah, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Anson. She lived in Manila all her life and attended school there. She was married to Rex Masters in Manila, March 28, 1933.
An active member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Masters had served formerly as primary teacher and member of the Relief Society. She was also a longtime member of the M and L Club at Manila.
Surviving are her husband, Rex. And her mother, Mrs. Sarah Anson, both of Manila; one son, James R. Masters, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Sam (Sheila) Mamalis of Green River and Mrs. Jay (Linda) Wall, Los Angeles, Calif.; six grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Warren (Hilda) Schofield of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Robert (Erma) Cahill of Chicago and Mrs. Ava Robertson of Rawlins.
