England, Lakes G., 70, of Amerine Road, Maryville, died Thursday at U-T Medical Center. He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II, he served with 191st Field Artillery in Europe.

Survivors include: wife, Johnnie Belle Boring England; daughters, Vonda Braden of Maryville, Karen Stinnett of Rockford; sons, Don, Dennis, Jerald, and John England, all of Maryville; sisters, Mrs. Grady [Ruth] Whitmore, Bessie Garrett, both of Maryville; 15 grandchildren

Funeral will be 8 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons Chapel with the Rev. Larry Partin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for interment. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the Saturday service at the funeral home. Family suggests that those wishing may make contributions to Grandview Baptist Church.
