Frank E. Ziegler
Nortonville-Frank E. Ziegler, 86, Nortonville, died Saturday, Oct. 13, at a Winchester nursing home.
Mr. Ziegler was a retired farmer.
He was born Oct. 26, 1897, at Nortonville, the son of George and Agnes Frommer Ziegler.
Mr. Ziegler was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at Nortonville.
He was married to Emma Cowley April 7, 1922, at Effingham. She died July 26, 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Esther Hawkins, Leavenworth; a son, Leroy Ziegler, Nortonville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in Nortonville Cemetery. Mr. Ziegler will lie in state an hour before service time at the church. Family and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday at O'Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville where memorial contributions may be made to the church.
