Shamlin on November 1, 1894. Joseph passed away around 1902 and she then married Robert D. "Bob" Johnston (later changed to Johnson) on December 24, 1903. She is buried in the Holley Cemetery in Prentiss County, MS, but the exact location of her grave is not known. Other children not presently linked are Donnie A. (Shamlin) Williams, Joseph D. "Pete" Shamlin, Julius Johnson, and Mae (Johnson) Pugh.
