Fannie Shamlin is the daughter of Joseph H. Shamlin and Louisa Armedia "Madie" (Calton) (Shamlin) Johnson. The exact date of her death is unknown, but it has been said that little Fannie died as a result of falling into a fire at about two years old. Her place of burial is unknown, but is most likely in the Holley Cemetery in Prentiss County, MS since, according to their respective death certificates, her mother and sister are buried there.
