FLORA V. CULBERTSON
Flora V. Culbertson, daughter of John and Viola Jones Bellon, was born in Wayne County, Iowa, April 8, 1877 and passed away at Iowa City, Wednesday, August 31, 1960, at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 23 days.
She was educated in the Wayne County schools and spent the last forty years in Clarke County.
On Feb. 25, 1903, she was married to Ellis E. Culbertson at Corydon, Iowa. To this marriage nine children were born.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, a daughter and three sons.
She is survived by three sons: Ardys of Chariton, A. J. of Barnum, Minn., Hubert of Creston; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Russell and Mrs. Russell McCloney of Osceola; a sister, Jennie Garten of Chariton; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
