MRS. LEONA A. MOORE
Mrs. Leona Alice Moore, 78, 1110 Scott, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient since Sept. 27.
She was born in Manson, Iowa, Aug. 20, 1893, the daughter of L.L. and Ethyl L. Hobbs Taylor.
On Aug. 27, 1919, she married Burris (Burt) Moore in Fort Scott. He preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1963.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the First Baptist church, Philathea Class, and the NARCE Club. A memorial has been established with the Philathea Class of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, J.B. Moore, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary M.) Elliott, Macon, Mo., and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Konantz Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon I. Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
