Sophia Schlemmer, the thirteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schlemmer, who live on the Sweesy farm in Scotch Grove Township, died last Tuesday afternoon of inflammation of the bowels after five weeks illness. Several physicians were employed but they were unable to save the young girl's life. Rev. C. Mardorf conducted the funeral services today.
