August Reinke, 69, well known town of Herman farmer, died Tuesday evening at Sheboygan Memorial hospital after having been ill for the past several months. Funeral services will be held at the farm home and at Emmanuel Reformed church near Mission House College. The Rev. Clarence Schmidt will officiate and burial will be made in the family lot in the church cemetery.
Mr. Reinke was born April 4, 1869 in the town of Herman the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilhelm Reinke. He attended the district school near Franklin and always has lived in the vicinity. On March 27, 1897, he was married to Miss Lena Wieck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wieck. He enjoyed a large circle of friends and devoted all of his time to his farm, home and his church.
Survivors include his wife; two children, Miss Elsie and Arno both at home; one sister, Mrs. Augusta Brill, Calumet, Mich., and a brother, Carl, of the town of Rhine.
