Willie Louise Lowe, 73, died June 12, 1998, in Sentara Nursing Care Center.
Mrs. Lowe was born in the foothills of Tennessee and resided in the Tidewater area for many years. She was a homemaker and a retired waitress for the Howard Johnson restaurant, Morrison's cafeteria, and the Circle restaurant. She was also a member of West Norfolk Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lowe is survived by two daughters, Faye Kopa of Virginia Beach and June Sanders of Chesapeake; two sons, Martin Lowe of Florida and John Lowe of Atlanta, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Moyock Cemetery, Moyock, N.C., by the Rev. Andrew Barton. The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
