Barbara Jean See, 74, of Carnegie OK, passed away on September 14, 2011, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City OK. She was born on May 7, 1937, to George and Leona (Huckleberry) Steckman in Carnegie OK. She married Herman See on December 25, 1956, at the Methodist Church in Alfalfa OK. She worked at TG&Y for a number of years in Carnegie. Barbara loved doing art and was a great ceramic artist. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie.
Survivors include her husband Herman See of Carnegie; sons Randall Lyn See of Eakly OK, Robert Wayne See of Carnegie, and Rodney Gene See of Garland OK; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; aunts Elese Steckman of Carnegie and Doris Rice of Durant OK.
Mrs. See was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles Steckman and Robert Steckman, and sister Marilyn Wilcox.
