GREEN SPRINGS –
Irene Margaret Hasselbach, 72, of County Road 34, Green Springs, died at 9:50 Monday night in St. Vincent’s Hospital Toledo. She had been ill for the last year.

Mrs. Hasselbach was born May 1, 1908, in Seneca County to Elbert and Bessie (Whited) Emery. She was retired from the restaurant business. Most of her life was spent in this
area.

She was married in Tiffin, Sept, 5, 1930, to Donald Hasselbach, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Gene and Thomas of Green Springs; Rodney and Dale of Fremont; a daughter, Marilyn Genzman of Fremont; a brother, Elbert Emery of Detroit; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Eric C. Young Funeral Home, 211 N. Broadway, Green Springs, from 7 to 9 tonight and from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The Rev. Tim Waggonerof Grace Brethren Chapel, Fremont, will conduct the funeral which will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, in the funeral home. Interment will be in Green Springs Cemetery.
