She was the wife of Leon Krise Stover Sr., whom she married April 17, 1940.
Born April 5, 1922, in Harmony, Frederick County, she was a daughter of the late Orville and Annabelle Shriner Baker Sr.
Mrs. Stover was a life member of The Monocacy Congregation Church of the Brethren, Rocky Ridge. She served with her husband as sexton of the church, and helped with many church activities.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Rocky Ridge Fire Department.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Doris L. Simpson and husband Richard of Adamstown; one son, Leon K. Stover Jr. and wife Wilma of Cheltenham; seven grandchildren, Carol Simpson, Alan Simpson, Kathy Peters, Amanda Stover, Brian Stover, Leon Stover III and Tiffany Stover; five great-grandchildren, Jason Simpson, Cheyenne Simpson, Travis Peters, Justin Peters and Caleb Peters; five sisters, Dolly Free and Mary Harman, both of Rocky Ridge, Kitty Cook and husband Hanford of Woodsboro, and Rachel Eichelberger and husband John, and Romaine Eyler and husband Norvel, all of Rocky Ridge; three brothers, Wilson Baker and wife Betty, Ralph Baker, and Orville Baker Jr. and wife Dorothy, all of Rocky Ridge; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stover was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Ann Stover.
