Funeral services for Edwin R. Maxson (1900-1961), 85, who died Wednesday night in a Jacksonville hospital after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Clayton Frank & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Crescent City with Rev. Ralph Harpoon of the Pomona Park Congregational Church officiating.


Burial will be in Eden Cemetery in Crescent City.


Maxson had been a resident of Pomona Park since he moved from Battle Creek, Michigan., 11 years ago.


Survivors include three sons, Glenn Irvin, Earl Edwin and Milton Roderick, of Battle Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Fern Cook of Pomona Park; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
