Burial will be in the Tulare Cemetery. A native of Arcada, Mrs. Lucas had lived in Tulare for the past 56 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the altar society, UPPEC, No.58, and SPRS No.87, She ha been a housewife. She is survived by her husband Joseph S. Lucas, two sons, Joseph W. Lucas an Melvin Lucas, all of Tulare, and a daughter , Mrs Bernice Gomes, Ceres, and eight grandchildren. Two brptjers Frand V Lorenzo, Pete Lorenzo; four sisters Mrs Mary Ornallas, Mrs. olivia Coelho, Mrs Wilhemina Borges and Belle Lorenzo, all of Tulare. A family mass will be celebrated friday at 9:30 a, in St Aloysius Catholic Church.
