HAROLD YAKISH
LONE TREE – Funeral services for Harold Yakish, 59, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church in Lone Tree. Burial will be in Lone Tree cemetery.
The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the Sorden-Adams Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Yakish died Saturday at Lone Tree of a sudden illness.
Born April 21, 1912 at Carlisle. Iowa, he was a son of Joseph and Hazel Callahan Yakish.
Harold Yakish married the former Beulah Oostendorp Aug. 30, 1935 at Muscatine.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce, and the State Homebuilders Association.
Survivors include the widow; five sons, Gerald, of Davenport, Robert, James, Rick, and Michael all of Lone Tree; two daughters, Annette Clevenger of Davenport and Deanna Krueger of Lone Tree; one brother, Lloyd Yakish of Shellsburg; one sister, Mrs. Fay Hoyt of Indiana; also his mother, Mrs. Hazel Jehle of Lone Tree; and 20 grandchildren.
