Thomas Joseph Adams Jr. was born in 1836 at Leicestshire, England and came to America in 1856. He married Indiana (went by Annie) O'Pogue (1840-1897) in Jan 1859 at presumably Scioto County, Ohio. They were the parents of four known children, namely:
1. Thomas Coley Admas (859-1892)
2. Sara (Sallie) Adelaide Adams Rothrock (1862-1938)
3. John Fairplay Adams (1865-1948)
4. Annie Indiana Adams (1867-1947) (or 1872-1946?)
Thomas was a Superintendant at a steel rolling mill, and later, with partners, owned a steel mill in Marietta, Ohio that made rails for the railroad industry. He later owned a gun barrel manufacturing company.
Thomas died of Bright's disease.
