Daughter of John A and Elizabeth Agnes (Dunn) Sullivan. John is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Boston and Elizabeth is buried with her second husband, William Joseph McLaughlin, in St Joseph's Cemetery, Medway, MA. Mary m. William James Shields in Feb 1943. Their only child, Kent, was born on 18 Dec 1943. Mary graduated in 1930 from the Teachers College of the City of Boston, and she was a long time teacher in public schools along with her sister, Rita. At age 92, May drove herself to the hospital where she died several days later. She died on the exact same day, only two years later, than her younger sister, Doris Lawton.
