In 1892 he was married to Martha E. Frew, daughter of Annie and James Frew, both parents were born in Scotland.
To this union was born two daughters; Olive B., b. Jan 1894, d. 1949 and Virgnia b. abt 1912, d. 1967. Olive married George Kitchen and Virgnia married Thomas C Lunn.
Martha died before the 1920 Census, as both the 1920 & 1930 census records show Edwin being widowed and living in Keithsburg with his siblings; Frederick, William, and Betty. The records also show a "niece" Virginia born about 1912, (daughter of Edwin and Martha) living in the household as well.
Edwin's occupation is listed in census records as a grocery store owner. He died in 1955, in Keithsburg at the age of 90.
