Nellie was the daughter of Orpha B. (Myers) and Benjamin D. Ellett. She had one half sister by her father's 1st marriage; Mary Jack Ellett, and eight siblings from her parents union; Frank A., Minnie E., Bettie, William Benjamin, Harry Brook, Edwin Myers, Fredrick D., and Thomas A. Ellett.
She married Clarence S. Frick, son of Annie Elizabeth (Stewart) and Benjamin Purcell Frick on Feb 2, 1876 in Illinois. To this union were born two sons, George Henry and Harry Benjamin.
Nellie was proceeded in death by her husband on Dec 9, 1918. She died Aug 1, 1935 at the age of 79.
