Mary Jane, who also went by the name Polly, was the Daughter of Peter and Mary (Isley) Boggs. She Married Benjamin Franklin Holliday at Cane Creek, Chatham County, North Carolina on Decemder / 7 / 1843, and while living there, they had Four children, they were, Lavina Jane Holliday (Willits), Eliza Adalaide Holliday (Wilson), Phebe (Nellie) Ellen Holliday (Flanagan), and Martha Matilda Holliday, who died in 1860 at the age of nine years old. Mary Jane and Benjamin then moved to Deming Indiana in 1851, and while living there they had Seven more children, they were, Mary Emily Holliday, who died in 1853 at the age of nine months old, Sarah (Susie) Evaline Holliday (White), Thomas Franklin Holliday, who died in 1857 at the age of four months old, Abraham Lincoln Holliday, Oliver Perry Morton Holliday, Grace Maude Holliday (Holloway), and General Grant Holliday, who died in 1869 at the age of two days old. Mary Jane was a home maker all her life, she died at the age of 74 years old.
