Oliver was the ninth child of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday, and the Grandson of Joseph and Phoebe (Lindley) Holliday, and the Grandson of Peter and Mary (Isley) Boggs, and the Brother of Grace Maude Holliday (Holloway). Oliver Married Fannie B. Bolen on Oct./ 24 /1885, and together they had Seven Children, they were, Eula Mae Holliday (Sumner), Herman Harrison Holliday, Clyde F. Holliday, Edythe Ellen Holliday (Trietsch), George O. Holliday, Esther Marie Holliday, and Fred R. Holliday. In Oliver's early days, he and his Brother Abraham Lincoln started up, and ran a Saw Mill Business there in Deming for awhile. In Oliver's later years he ran his own milk route business. Oliver died of tuberculosis at the age of 66 years old.
