Susie was the sixth child of Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jane (Boggs) Holliday, and the GrandDaughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Lindley) Holliday, and the GrandDaughter of Peter and Mary (Isley) Boggs, and the Sister of Grace Maude Holliday (Holloway). She married James Melville White on Dec./3/1874, and together they had five children, they were, Albert (Bert) Franklin White, who died in 1968, Mabel C. White (Johnson), who died in 1943, Cecil Clarence White, who died in 1969, Ina Mae White (Wilson), who died in 1963, and Phoebe H. White (Roberts), who died in 1967. Susie was 74 years old when she died.
