J. F. BAMESBERGER DIES

Americus, July 1 — John F. Bamesberger, 81, a retired farmer, died Monday evening at his home here. His wife died only a month ago. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Bamesberger home in Americus. Burial will be in the Americus cemetery. Rev. Charles Davis, of the Methodist church, will conduct the services.
John F. Bamesberger, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Bamesberger, was born in Marshall, Ill., December 19, 1859, and came to Lyon county in 1869. He married Ernestine Barthel August 26, 1886, in Emporia. Mrs. Bamesberger's death occurred June 1, 1941. Mr. Bamesberger is survived by a son, J. E. Bamesberger, of Americus; a grandson, Warren Bamesberger, and a great grandson, Jerry Bamesberger; also by a brother, Samuel Bamesberger, of Emporia. He was a member of the New Church of Jerusalem.
