Memorial services for Agnes A. Collman, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 14,2002, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Anamosa. The Rev. Jerry Egel will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Internment will be at Wilcox Cemetery, Viola.
Agnes A. Collman of Stone City died Sunday, Feb. 10,2002, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. Agnes A. Bohlken was born March 3, 1925, at Monticello, the daughter of Adolph and Emma Bohlken, Bohlken. She attended school in Monticello. On May 25, 1943, she married Louis Collman at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Anamosa. She was employed at Rockwell-Collins from 1961 to 1981. After retiring from Rockwell, she cared for her husband, Louis. She liked to garden and grow gladiolus. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and a former member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. She is survived by her daughter, Carol "Sue" (Roger) Smith of Stone City; one son, Ken Collman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Ellen Hanken of Monticello; two grandchildren, Jesse Collman and Joey Connelly and a son-in-law, Don Connelly of Stone City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis, in 1991; a daughter, Catherine Connelly in 2001; an infant son; four brothers: Boots, Chuck, Hank and George Bohlken; and one sister, Mary Bohlken.
