EDGERTON - John A. Robinson, 91, Rte. 3, Edgerton, one of the oldest residents of this vicinity, died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in Edgerton Hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Robinson retired 17 years ago after many years of work for the Highway Trailer Co. At the celebration of his 90th birthday in 1956 five generations were present and Mr. Robinson received a greeting card from President and Mrs. Eisenhower.

He was born in Spring Valley, Minn., Oct. 14, 1866, and married Dora M. Babcock in Edgerton Oct. 14, 1887. She died in 1946.

Surviving are one son, Cecil, Edgerton; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Nelson, Edgerton, Mrs. Albert Schwenkner and Mrs. William Allen, both of Janesville; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Jones Funeral Home, the Rev. W. W. Holliday, Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery.
