Maggie was the eighth of ten children born to George Washington and Sarah Jane (Gurton) Foust. She married Joseph R. Younger in 1911 and they were the parents of four children: Nellie Vay, Edgar Thomas, Hubert Jackson and Hazel Inez.

BURLINGTON, March 22 - Mrs. Maggie Lillie Foust Young, 66, died in a local hospital this morning after several years of failing health and one week's critical illness. She was a native of Orange County. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Hall, Burlington; and Mrs. Howard M. Loy, Route 4, Burlington; two sons, Edgar I. Younger, Burlington and Hubert J. Younger, Route 1, Graham; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Foust of Mebane and Jacob Foust of Route 5, Burlington. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Ireland Street Chapel. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
