Services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at a local funeral home for Mrs. Henry W. Fischer, 86, a former Jefferson City resident who had lived in St. Louis for the past 10 years.
Mrs. Fischer died at St. Louis County Hospital Thursday. She had been in ill health for several years.
She was born in St. Louis, Jan. 9, 1873. On Oct. 6, 1897, she was married to Henry W. Fischer, who survives.
The couple resided in Jefferson City for more than 50 years. They left here about 10 years ago to make their home with a daughter, Mrs. Charles Parrish.
She was a member of the Womens Guild of that church.
Other survivors include four sons, Louis, Albert, Charles and Andrew; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Graves and Mrs. Parrish; one sister, Anne Clevenger; and two brothers, Charles and William Wolfmeyer.
Officiating at the funeral services will be the Rev. Robert G. Herrman, pastor of the Central United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
