Samuel was united in holy matrimony to Eva Griffin on February 10, 1935. They moved to Chicago, IL; in 1941. To this union, three (3) sons were born, Samuel, Harvey, and Ronald.
Samuel departed this earthly life on February 9, 1994, after a long, extensive illness.
He leaves to his memory, his loving wife, Eva; one sister, Mrs. Henrene Clay of Chicago, IL; three sons, Samuel (Ella), Harvey, and Ronald of Chicago, IL; mother·in-law, Mrs. Fannie A. Griffin of Belzoni, MS; four granddaughters, Paulette Kelly, Rosalind Moss, Raquel Wells, and Veronica Wells; four great-grandchildren, Paulette Wells, Paul Kelly Andre Moss, and Patrick Moss; sister-in-law, Mrs. Alyce (L.
