PARIS — Charles Palliser, 72, Paris, died at Community Memorial Hospital at Moberly at 10 p.m. Monday. He had been failing health several years.
He was born Dec. 24, 1900, in Monroe County, son of Thomas and Margaret Ferguson Palliser, and farmed in the Shelbina area prior to retirement.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, and was the last of his immediate family.
Surviving are the wife, Ella Mae, of Paris; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Herron, Paris; and Mrs. Thomas Todd, Lentner; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Agnew Funeral Home. Burial will be Walnut Grove Cemetery.
