Anna was the youngest of eleven children of Jonathan Yoder and Magdalena Wagner. She moved with her family to Illinois in 1851. She married William Hein (1834-1874)from Baden, Germany, in 1865. They had six children. Anna married widower Abraham K. Plank (1825-1908)in 1889, and she and her daughters moved to the Plank home in Cass County, Missouri. In 1911 she moved to Oregon where some of her children lived. In 1913, she married Levi P. Hershberger (1841-1928)of Hubbard, Marion County, Oregon.
