Surviving are husband, Elbert Sr.; a son, Elbert Jr, of Pierceton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Henry Compton, Bill Compton and Layne Compton, all of Prestonsburg, KY; and two sisters, Maudie Peters of Munith, Mich., and Rebecca Peters of Pierceton.
Services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial in Washington Union Cemetery, Pierceton.
