Mrs. C. C. Strickland---Age 33 of Tahoka, died in her home at Tahoka last Sunday, March 14th, following a continued illness. The deceased had lived in Tahoka only a short time coming from San Angelo where they had resided for several years, only a few months ago. She is survived by her husband and several children. The body was shipped to McLennan County Monday morning for interment. (Lubbock Avalanche Journal, Lubbock, Texas, Vol. 20, No. 38, Ed. 1 Thursday, March 18, 1920.)
