MOOREHEAD, Joe Newton, age 95 of Winchester died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. He was born in Moore County,Tn.. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Jane Towry Moorehead; son, Ted Moorehead; brothers, Thurmond Moorehead and Johnny Moorehead; sisters, Ruby Farris and Amber Holt. He is survived by his daughter, Jo Faye (Jim) Ward of Tullahoma; brother, Charlie Moorehead of Winchester; sisters, Ellie Burrow of Winchester, Mary Lena Bean of Alabama, Delma Syler of Hixson and Janie Tipps of Winchester; grandchildren, Steve (Angela) Ward of Huntsville, Ala. and Brent Ward of Richmond, Ky.; great-grandchildren, Emily Ward and Caroline Ward, both of Huntsville, Ala. . Interment was in Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester,Tn.
