Henry Hileman, first born of six children, to John and Elizabeth Eddleman Hileman; husband of (first wife) Rachel Holshouser; father of Melvina Hileman Barringer, Serena Hileman Sowers Stubblefield, David Henry, Thomas Benton, and Henry Jackson Hileman; husband of (second wife) Eva Ann Earnhart, father of my great grandfather John Jefferson Hileman.

Henry later owned and operated his father's flour and saw mills 5 miles out on Unity Road and farmed over 260 acres of land purchased from his father; 40 acres of that land previously known as the Washington Lingle farm and 120 acres previously owned by his uncle, Peter Eddleman. This same sawmill donating the lumber for the building of Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran church by his father John Hileman. A portion of this land was later known as Mill Creek, Union County, IL.

The mill stayed in my family, and operated, Henry's son Jefferson and grandson Edward ran it until 1899
