MORNING SUN -- Phronia H. McConahay, 85, died Saturday evening at the Morning Sun Manor.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Morning Sun with Reverend Fred Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be this evening from 7:30-6:30 at the Pierce Funeral Home, Morning Sun.
The daughter of Dennis D. and Caroline Hunt Hamilton, she was born June 24, 1892 in Morning Sun. She was a life resident of Morning Sun and was a member of the Morning Sun United Methodist Church, Oakland What-So-Ever Class, Oakland Social Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her marriage to Chet McConahay took place May 28, 1921, in Washington.
Survivors are one brother, Dee Hamilton of Morning sun and several nephews and nieces.
Preceding her in death are her husband, one brother and one sister.
