August Herring died early this morning at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. armel, following injuries received Tuesday evening in a car-truck accident east of Albion on Route 15. His wife, Edna, passed away shortly after the accident.
Surviving are five sons, Charles of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Robert of Grayville, James of Albion, Howard of Belmont, and Earl of Brownsburg, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Albert Reid of Bone Gap, Mrs. John Booth of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Howard Searby of Albion, and Mrs. Bill Newport of Biloxi, Miss.; 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Elizabeth Fewkes of Spokane, Wash., is a sister of Mr. Herring.
Mr. and Mrs. Herring were members of the Browns United Methodist Church.
