Geneva Janie Rich Services for Mrs. Geneva Janie Rich, 87, of McKinney, who died Tuesday at University Nursing Home, were 2 p.m. today at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Long officiating.
Burial was in Blue Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Rich was born on Oct. 6, 1905, in Altoga, the daughter of George and Mary Frances Driggers. She married Tom M. Rich on March 13, 1926, in Verona. She was a retired nurse's aid and a member of the Waddill Street Baptist Church.
Survivors included her daughters and sons-in-laws, Tommie and Jim Gantt and Patsy and J. D. Williams, all of McKinney; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, eight brothers and sisters and two daughters, Melba Roundtree and Frances Ann Rich.
