Robert J. Welch

Robert J. Welch, 59, of Westfield died Oct. 29, 1975, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

Services will beat 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic church at Akron, Rev. Stanley, Stone will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery a Akron. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Hoschler American Legion Post of Akron. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.Thursday at the Schroeder funeral home of Akron.

Mr. Welch was born April 18, 1916, at Westfield. He married Phyllis Petty in December, 1950, at Akron. He was a farmer and lifelong resident of Westfield. He was a veteran of world war 2.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter; Mrs. James (Sharon) Schettler of Sioux City; three sons, Steve of Akron and Leo and Vincent, both of Westfield;; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sam Claassen of, Akron, and five brothers, Frank and Jess, both of Westfield, and Ray, Emmet and William, all of Akron.
