Jake Harness, 64, of Winona passed away in the Scott County Hospital Saturday evening January 10. He was the son of the late Emerson Harness and the late Mary Lawson Harness. Survivors: Son: Ronnie Harness of Dalton, Ga., Six Daughters: Miss Trucilla Harness of Huntsville, Mrs. Izellia Miller of Helenwood, Mrs. Fayrene Lowe of Clinton, Mrs. Geraldine Crabtree of Elk Valley, Mrs. Joyce Bowling of Dalton, Ga., Miss Franciene Harness of Huntsville, Four Sisters: Mrs. Flora Hamblin of Winona, Mrs. Martha Fugate of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Rebecca Chambers, Eva Harness both of Huntsville, Fourteen Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the Winona Baptist Church 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, with Rev. Odie Brummett and Rev. Carl Jeffers officiating. Burial in the Winona Cemetery.
