Mary Lou Boyd (1926 - 2012)

Mary Lou Boyd, 85, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012. She is now free. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Bethel Family Worship Center. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Mary Lou was born April 3, 1926, in Chester, Miss., to John and Cora Null. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She is loved greatly and will be missed. We take comfort in knowing we will see her again. Mary Lou was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers.

Survivors: Husband, Curtis Earl Boyd; sons, David Boyd and wife, Rebecca, Mark Boyd and Johnny Boyd and wife, Dawn; daughter, Ann Metcalf and husband, Gary; sister, Carrie Wood and husband, Johnnie; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
