There died at Clifton, New London, on the 10th of October, John Gunn, in the 64th year of his age, leaving to mourn a sorrowing widow and five sons: Dan in Brooklyn, New York; Robert in Haverhill, Mass.; John in Winnipeg; Fenton in England; and Ray, a prisoner in Germany. The funeral took place on the 11th October, Rev. George Irvine, B. A., conducting the services; a short service being held in the home before removing the remains to the church, where a large congregation had assembled to show their sympathy to the bereaved friends, and to show their respects to the memory of the deceased. A very thoughtful and fitting sermon for the occasion was preached by the pastor.
