Ruth Smith Hatch

Ruth Hatch tragically left this world to return to her loving Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 66 years old.
Ruth was born in Snowflake, Navajo County, Arizona on Tuesday, March 6, 1945 to the late Jesse N. and Marvel (Bailey) Smith. She grew up in Snowflake where she met her childhood sweetheart, Gerald R. Hatch. In June of 1967 she and Gerald married and they remained best friends and business partners for 44 years. They raised 6 sons and 1 daughter while growing their business in Snowflake.
Ruth was a loving, kind, compassionate mother, sister, daughter and friend to so many. She loved to travel, cook, plan parties but, especially, she loved to spend time with her family. Her children and grandchildren brought her great joy and "we will all miss her very much."
Ruth was a devout and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Among her callings were: Relief Society President, Young Women's President, Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher and visiting teacher coordinator.
Ruth is survived by her 7 children: Garett (Emilie) Hatch of Phoenix, Arizona, Gentry (Amy) Hatch of Show Low, Arizona, Robb (Mikelle) Hatch of Snowflake, Arizona, Guy (Kellie) Hatch of Show Low, Arizona, Ruben (Kim) Hatch of Chandler, Arizona, Jessica (Seth) Gaston of Show Low, Arizona, G.R. Hatch of Chandler, Arizona. Ruth is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, who were her greatest pride and joy. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Due to the special needs of the Hatch Family during this difficult season, the Public Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Snowflake Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 175 W. 9th Street in Snowflake.
The funeral service will begin promptly at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Snowflake Stake Center and those attending the funeral service are asked to arrive at the Stake Center and politely take your seats in the areas provided.
The concluding service and interment will follow at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. The Hatch Family is so appreciative for all the thoughts and prayers and continue to ask everyone to remember Robb and Mikelle in their prayers that they may continue to make a speedy and healthy recovery.
