SPENCERVILLE - Services for Alwilda Walter, 94, will begin at 3 p.m. Monday in Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, Spencerville. Pastor Richard Kraus and Paul Row will officiate. Friends may call Sunday from 3-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walter died Friday at 6:20 a.m. in Betz Nursing Home, Auburn.
She worked several years at General Electric Co. in Fort Wayne and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Spencerville.
She was born June 13, 1903, in Garrett to the late John and Margaret (Spitler) McNabb. She married Martin Walter on March 27, 1937, in Fort Wayne, and he died Jan. 16, 1983.
Surviving her are several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, Dale McNabb, Earl McNabb, Bernard McNabb, Glen McNabb and Kenneth McNabb, and three sisters, Izetta Chaney, Thelma Oswald, Ethel Landon preceded her in death.
