Belva Henderson Adams Grant, 86 of S. Fowler Ave, died at 1 a.m.today at her home after a long illness.

Services will be at Second Baptist Church with the Revs. John R Christian and Kent Workman officiating and burial in Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Christian County, she was born Jan. 13, 1903 daughter of the late James G and Mattie Lucille Nixon Henderson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and a retired employee of Western State Hospital. Her first husband, Herbert E. Adams, died in 1952, her second husband, Luther B. Grant died in 1987. A don Duard Lynn Adams, died July 12.

Survivors include a son, Granville Adams, Cadiz; a daughter, Martha Grove, Nashville, Tenn., a sister, Jewell Lillian Haskins, Hopkinsville; and seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
