Helen Richmeier Knoll, 79, of Aurora died June 7. Services were June 10, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Mrs. Knoll was born Helen Rickmeier in St. Peter, Kan., on Aug. 15, 1919. She married Wendelin Knoll, 1943.

She was a volunteer with the homeless and needy and a member of St. James Church in Denver.

Survivors include her husband; daughters Sharon Haab of Washington, Marilyn Stephens of Aurora; brothers Ben of Thornton, Joe of Westminster, Gerald of Grand Junction, Ronnie of Aurora; sisters Julia Scheck of Westminster, Lydia Denning, Barbara Malsom, Armella Ashworth, Francis Nimz, all of Kansas; two grandchildren.
