Robert G. Bolder, Sr., 89, Antigo Route 2, a former Gleason area resident, died early Sunday at Langlade County Memorial Hospital in Antigo.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Schram-Waid Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Arni Jacobson pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Merrill will officiate. Burial will be in the Gleason cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m.

Mr. Bolder was born Nov. 8, 1887, in Latvia, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bolder. He was married in Chicago, Ill., in 1928 to Emily Hutman. He was married in Minneapolis, Minn. in 1933 to Anna Shank. She died in January, 1968. He was a farmer and carpenter, retiring in 1947.

Surviving are three sons, Robert Jr., Pewaukee, Carl, Gleason Route 1, and Harold, Antigo; a sister, Ida Olsen, Astoria, Ore.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
